Please help Is ABU DHABI ENGINEERING LLC REALLY OPERATING?

We received email for work in Abu Dhabi We even send money for the visa but the person receiving the money has no contact no the person from the visa office if you phone he he do answer but tells you that he is busy in a meeting and all he wants is the western union ref no and than they ask you for other moneys for registration of employment with the labour department that is when I started looking up on the web they even send you what seems to me like the original doents from the labour department. Can somebody please look into this I have lost a lot of money because working in a strict country how can things like this happen and how can I ever get my money back? How can people do this to other people?
