What is the best way to remember the right spelling of stationary and stationery?

I can remember there are two spellings and two meanings, but getting the two matched up is hard for me, and I'm a Brit, I speak no language other than English. Is there an easy way for me to remember the difference? I can just about remember brought and bought (even though I do get the two mixed up a little, but I'm getting better). Can anyone help me out? Any tricks you know of?
