If i cook ribs in a crock pot with a bottle of jack do i need to add water so they are not so potent?

im cookin country style ribs for a cook out saturday i have 2 crock pots with bout 14 ribs a piece and a 5th a jack in each pot... i added a cup of water.. but when they done im going to strain them and put home made bbq sause over them do u think they will be to strong or should i dump out some of the alcohol... in case it doesnt all cook out
