We are raising our 13 yr old granddaughter and need help.?

She is currently grounded for 2 mths for very inappropriate behavior with her cell phone that her father bought her. We just received this months bill and it is $300.00. The phone was taken away as part of her grounding, but what kind of discipline would be the best for the new situation?
