Did anyone hear about the gay couple refused a double room at that hotel?

I think you're taking the piss, but I don't think all your respondents are. The gay couple quite obviously had right on their side, as well as the law. If you think hoteliers should be prosecuted for refusing black and Irish people (as they obviously should), then the same should go for gay couples, mixed-race couples, and so on. People are welcome to their own beliefs, but the law is right to prosecute people for acting according to beliefs that are discriminatory and prejudiced.
