French 2 Homework-changing to imperfect tense?

I take French 2 and am using the Glencoe French 2 Bon Voyage! book and I am on the essment test of chapter 3. How do you change the verb in this sentence to the imperfect tense? Supposedly I need two answers. "Quand il est petit, il habite a Nice." thanks
